Femme Fatale Dance
Established in January 2014, Tina had a vision to empower dancers to be confident in their bodies on and off stage. She wanted her students to feel comfortable being sexy; while having the opportunity to perform onstage in small communities that may not have other dance opportunities available. Femme Fatale was born from this space and has evolved over the past 11 years into a beautiful, vibrant community. Today Femme Fatale has 2 different chapters, Dance + Burlesque in Kelowna, Vernon + Penticton.

Our style of heels dance is a fusion of jazz, cabaret and hip hop while wearing a heeled shoe. Dance heels may range from 2-4 inches, but we do require a non-marking heel to keep the studio floors clean. Often in class we venture to the floor, so knee pads are welcomed in class for sensitive knees. The nature of our heels classes ranges from sexy to sensual, but typically has a mature theme, which is why our classes are all 18+. For our performance sessions we offer 7 levels, so we have a class for everyone to thrive and feel good in!

In 2022 we started our little Burlesque troupe and have been performing around the Okanagan in every venue we can dip our tassels in! For the past couple years we have offered a variety of Burlesque series and classes and the community is loving learning about the art of the striptease.
Burlesque classes are different from traditional heels dance classes in the way that we move, the costuming involved and the focus is around the striptease. Burlesque is an art form that supports all levels, ages, body types, and diversity.
