1. How old were you when you started dancing and where did you dance?

I took my first ballet class when I was 5 years old, at Images Dance Studio in Chilliwack!

2. What is your role with Femme?

I am currently a choreographer, instructor, and dancer with Femme! I choreograph group numbers for student showcases, teach drop-in combo classes and series, and am a dancer in group and solo numbers for the showcases as well :)

3. When you aren't shaking your booty in Femme, what is your favourite style of dance?

I absolutely adore contemporary fusion styles, and have recently fallen in love with jazz funk - but heels is always #1 in my heart <3

4. If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?

Oooohhhh. I want to say a wolf because they're loyal and have a strong sense of community. But honestly I'm probably more of a sloth with ADHD (I'm a taurus who loves her bed :D)

5. Would you rather only eat your favorite food for the rest of your life or never eat it again?

Pls don’t tempt me with a good time, I would die SO happy only eating sushi for the rest of my life!

6. What is your favorite song to dance to?

I've been jamming to Only Time by Enya since I was 3 years old hahahaha. Still hits

7. What is your most embarrassing moment on stage?

When I was 11 I forgot my jazz solo on stage and got on the ground and held an elbowstand for 5 counts of 8 until I remembered it again.

8. What is your favorite Femme memory?

I lost my personal prop (rag) on stage and another dancer picked it up and passed it back to me right as I needed it at the end of the number. T'was so mf BEAUTIFUL

9. When you're not dancing what are you doing?

Circus arts!! I’m also a professional aerialist 🤸🏼‍♀️

10. Why have you chosen to dance with Femme Fatale?

I love the empowering community Femme has built - there is no other support or safe space quite like it. I feel so grateful to be on both ends of that exchange as a dancer and a choreographer. It's healed the parts of me that were negatively affected by the competitive dance industry I grew up in - and then some. ♥️
